Our qualified and experienced staff have a broad range of knowledge and specialist interests and enthusiasms. We aim to provide lesson options to suit any rider, regardless of age or experience. We believe that we can help you, whatever your equestrian goals and hopes. Once assessed, our clients are provided on-going coaching and advice against your requirements. We emphasise the importance of sound basics and take a step by step approach for you to achieve progress and success. Lesson options include private (121), semi-private (122) and group sessions for all aspects of riding and care. In today's busy and mechanised world, we believe that hacking - riding in the outdoors - holds a special place in our sport. We also know that hacking involves learning skills that are difficult to replicate in the arena environment. Hacking is therefore a very important and separate activity. Our wonderful location means that our clients can enjoy off-road hacking in private woodland or explore further afield in the Kent countryside.
Our experienced team will help maximise your ride time in the great outdoors to improve and enjoy yourself. We do emphasise the importance of your ability to proceed beyond the arena. So, if you are new to us or have had a rest from riding, you will have an arena assessment first, to help ensure the safety and well-being of you and your horse. Hacking options include 121, shared (with friends) and group sessions. We also offer double sessions, this can include either a 90 minute hacking or a 45 minute arena session follwoed by a 45 hack. Best of both!

🐎 Pony Parties – £38 per child
Perfect for a fun-filled celebration! Children enjoy a 40–45 minute ride with plenty of help, finishing with a mounted birthday singalong. After riding, head to our private party room overlooking the indoor arena.
Party food includes burgers/veggie options, nuggets, sausages or fish fingers with chips or sandwiches, plus yogurts and squash. Each child also takes home a beautiful rosette 🎀

Our extended 3-hour experience offers a truly unforgettable celebration at the stables!

Pony Club Centres are riding schools that are approved to offer children who do not own a pony all the benefits of Pony Club membership. Membership is open to young people between the ages of 5 and 25 years and membership costs from £38 per annum.
At MMS Pony Club centre, you can enjoy discounted Pony Club group lessons at £25 for 45 minutes, this special price is offered when booked as a course of four consecutive sessions. If you prefer to book single lessons at a time the price is £28 per child.
To be correctly allocated a Pony Club group you will need to have Pony Club 121 assessment session. These can be booked at any time and are priced at £46 - 45mins. During this session we will assess your riding and stable management skillls. Becoming a Pony Club member opens up a wide range of competitively priced holiday activities including camps, achieve test certificates and badges, and enables you to take part in fun and friendly competitions, go on outings and trips and attend events such as our infamous annual Halloween Fancy Dress Party.
Additionally, as a member you can qualify for BHS/ABRS training on the Mount Mascal Helper Programme, once you have achived your D Test and reached the age of 10 years.
To encourage young people to ride and to learn to enjoy all kinds of sport connected with horses and riding. To give instruction in riding and horsemastership and to educate members to look after and to take proper care of their animal and finally to promote the highest ideals of sportsmanship, citizenship and loyalty to create strength of character and self-discipline.
As a new member, you - and your family - can be sure of a warm welcome at our Centre. Our members are renowned for their friendliness and you are guaranteed to learn and make new friends in no time!
Tailor-made, fun-filled time for any child who is already riding or wishes to start learning. Activities vary to suit weather conditions but a typical popular Pony Zones includes a 45 min tutored riding session, stable skills, tractor ride, plus a second pony related experience – mounted games/bareback riding!
Given our superb covered arenas, these sessions will run 'whatever the weather' Children must wear gloves to ride and be accompanied with appropriate clothes, footwear along with some snacks and drink for snack time. Each child will leave with a rosette as a take home memory of the day!
If your child has never ridden and wishes to attend, we recommend a one-to-one, 30 minute assessment session @ £36, this half hour session helps ensure that your child will enjoy spending time with us on a three hour session.
Pony Zones are a great way to get started, improve and make new friends - equine and human!

Activities vary to suit weather conditions but a typical day will always include riding, stable skills and care, with the equine you 'own' on the day. The emphasis is on the fun and responsibility of 'ownership'. 'Own' A Pony Days start is a pm, Monday to Friday, including Bank holidays. 'Own' A Pony Days are available for private and group bookings and can be tailor made for all levels of experience.
As well as on-going training and career development for all our staff, we offer a wide range of options to anyone interested in learning and improving their equestrian skills and knowledge. We deliver BHS, training programmes to include Horse Explorers (12yrs - 18yrs) and The Challenge Awards (18+ yrs) plus ABRS, NVQ to young people following our Helper’s Programme and Work Experience Provision. We can assist with Duke of Edinburgh and Young Equestrian Leaders Award, GCSE and A level syllabi. We are always happy to tailor make programmes to meet ad hoc requirements.
A fun pony experience especially created for very little ones. Meet our lovely patient ponies for patting & playing, greeting & grooming plus care & riding time – a take home roseets as a memory of your time with us. Age guideline, pre school 3yrs - 5yrs.
Term time we run these every Wednesday morning 09:15 - 10:30 and also feature in our holiday activity schedule.

A 10 or 20 minute experience. Our Pony rides are a super little introduction to our ponies and riding with us. These generally run on request so please call us to book. However during the holidays we do advertise them as an activity and they run over selected dates and times throughout the holidays.
We also run the occasional themed Pony Rides - Christmas Festive Rides, Valentine Ride, Halloween Rides, Easter Rides etc. Your child enjoys a ride on our themed pony, has a photo opportunity against the themed backdrop and goes home with a treat and rosette as a memory of the occasion. These are a very popular choices and enjoyed by all the children that attend.
We are always happy to welcome a class or friendship bubble to enjoy exclusive Pony Rides, these can be booked via the office as a separate activity.
