Our premier position in the equestrian industry is the result of our forward thinking approach keeping us one step ahead. However, our sport is an ancient one and we respect and retain those tried and tested equestrian traditions that have stood the test of time. Our facilities are the result of knowledge and innovation over five decades. They exist for the benefit of all our clients and the horses in our care and are open to our local and wider equestrian community.

The Permit year commences on the 1st March. Permit application forms, prices, conditions of use and a map of the rides and access gates can be downloaded here.
Mount Mascal Stables is also responsible to the Trust for maintaining the integrity of the Riding Permit Scheme and has the authority to refuse an application or withdraw a Permit.

Well it`s coming to the end of March and the sun is out. The fertilizer is on some fields, and all have been rolled and harrowed. All we need is some rain!! Quite a lot actually. Hay and Straw prices are coming back and we have been able to assist the DIY owner by reducing prices of these items. However, no rain and prices will go back up again next winter.
With Christmas and New Year festivities out of the way, and I hope you all enjoyed yourselves. I was particularly pleased to see ten riders from Mount Mascal attending the Boxing Day meet of the Ashford Valley Hunt in Tenterden. From what I saw and from reports coming in, everyone had a great time. As someone who for years enjoyed my hunting it is very rewarding to see the younger element continuing this exciting sport.
