Here’s a quick run-down.
Our Famous Family Horse & Pony Fun Day is back by popular demand since running last Autumn. A fantastic full day for everyone in your family to get involved. Activities will be tailored to suit individual abilities from complete beginner upwards. The feedback we always get is fantastic and this activity therefore comes highly recommended to you all.
Hacks and outdoor activities are very high on the agenda to make the most of the finer – hopefully – weather. Springtime Start to Hack & Snacktivity and Perfect Picnic Pony Ride. Great chances for Lead Rein & Beginner level upwards to enjoy our beautiful woodland, socialise with Pony Club pals and enjoy some tasty treats to eat. Jumping with the X Country Rally for D+ standard and above and Clear Round in the field, ground permitting.
Talking of Jumping, you have the choice of Beginner and Beginner Plus Jump Sessions – depending on your ability. Please remember that ALL jumping is above very beginner rider level.
Stable Management Day is a cool combo event which includes a morning hack AND picnic lunch.
Moving on to badges … For more experienced Members working at D+ standard and above, the Fitness Badge will be of interest. There are also two brilliant new subjects on the badge syllabus at full and mini level. Field Safety & Yard Safety. With Loading and Tack Cleaning also on offer there are plenty of equine focussed subjects covering all aspects of pony care and knowledge to enjoy. As well as all this, the Butterflies & Moths Badge includes a Tractor Ride to Horseshoe Barn & Garden to enjoy hunting and studying butterflies and moths AND have a picnic.
Finally, tests. The Bronze to D Test Day is VITAL for 2016 D Test candidates, aspiring Helpers and all Bronze level riders. E Test Morning is a very warm welcome for young/truly beginner members. Informal testing and a very achievable level.
Always speak to your instructor or the office if you are not sure what to book. They will give you great advice to make sure you have the best time possible.
And, don’t forget that Pony Days are also on offer every day Monday to Friday 9.45am to 3.45pm. The fun will always include riding and stable management as well as other fantastic fun stuff depending on the weather – tractor rides, games, gymkhanas, picnics and more. Lunch and drinks included @ just £38. You can book a full five day week for £175.
