Mar. 4, 2013, 11:00 — 12:00

Get Test Success! New ABRS (Association of British Riding Schools) Weekly Group Sessions – Starting Monday 4 March 2013 @ 11am £20 Riding School Client, £14 Livery Clients

In response to client interest, this brand new initiative will enable Mount Mascal Stables riders to gain ABRS Equitation and Stable Management Tests. Sessions will be tailored to suit your ability from Level 1 upwards and you can choose to concentrate on equitation, stable management or become the all-round horseman/woman and do both. Learning and testing will be in a friendly group atmosphere. The emphasis will be on enjoying the experience as well as achieving results.

Numbers will be limited and you will need to book and pay in advance to ensure your place. Cancellation policy will be 24 hours. For maximum benefit we would recommend regular attendance but there is no obligation and you can book up as and when you are able to attend.

Some of our clients have already achieved ABRS test success. Here’s what Leighton Brown – Level 5  - has to say:

"The sessions will suit clients who are newer to riding and have never taken any kind of equestrian ‘exam’ as well as those more seasoned and experienced. Here are two testimonials from two who have already achieved ABRS test success

After twenty years of enjoying my riding, I find ABRS based sessions an invaluable way to look at my skills afresh and remind myself of the essential basics that are easily forgotten. The sessions have helped me to take a more technical approach. My horse and I have both benefitted from the new depth and strength in my riding."

Leighton Brown, Blackheath

To help you understand the benefits of joining the sessions, check out what the ABRS say below:

The ABRS Equitation and Stable Management Tests are designed to encourage all those interested in riding  to learn and become competent not only in equitation, but also in the animal care and welfare. The objective of the ABRS rallies is to follow the structure of the tests, encourage riders to progress systematically with the aim of achieving the levels over a period a time. The ABRS Tests provide a nationally recognised standard of competence, marking the progress of the rider from the beginning of his/her riding, until by progressive instruction and practice he/she is able to become a balanced, competent and effective rider who can ride a variety of horse in all disciplines. For riders not wishing to jump there are alternative sections. Those riders that reach a certain degree of competence and wish to remain there, can continue to progress along the Stable Management Tests route.
